CRASH REPLACEMENT

We’ve all been there. We want you to continue to ride Blue should you have a crash or otherwise accidentally damage your Blue frameset or Aerus component. In the event of a crash or accidental damage, please follow the steps below to take advantage of our program and receive a generous discount on a replacement. This policy does not cover usage outside intended and normal use, theft, or abuse.

1) Email CrashReplacement@rideblue.com with detailed photos, serial number, model, size, place and date of purchase, and details of the crash or accident.

2) Blue will notify you if your request for a crash replacement has been approved and provide a quote if so. If the bicycle in question is out of stock or no longer in production, we can provide an alternative.

3) Following approval we will generally ask for you to return the damaged part so we may verify the damage and dispose of the broken part. Upon receipt of the part, we will send you an invoice for the replacement. We will then send you your new part!

Blue is not responsible for the proper assembly or replacement of any component by any customer or third party.

WARRANTY

All Blue framesets have a five-year warranty from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover situations beyond normal use, wear and tear, crashes, accidental damage, or over-tightening of bolts.

Aerus components including wheels, handlebars, stems, and seatposts are covered by the same warranty for one year.

The warranty applies only to the original owner. Warranty requests for bicycles purchased through a dealer outside of the US must be processed by the dealer.

Any components not manufactured by Blue or Aerus are not covered under Blue’s warranty.

To submit a warranty request, email warranty@rideblue.com with detailed photos, serial number, model, size, proof of purchase, and details of the defect or damage.
